HEMOG.L.O.W.BIN intends to make an impact for Sickle Cell Disease across these three main pillars
At HemoG.L.O.W.bin, we are confident sickle cell disease awareness can be increased through this impact strategy below:
Two Methods That Support Our Strategy
Narrative Accretion
Narrative Accretion acknowledges that stories across various media formats, including documentaries, news, podcasts, and entertainment programs, accumulate to create a collective impact that surpasses the individual narratives. While each story may reveal crucial insights into pressing contemporary issues like rape, criminal justice reform, chronic illness awareness, or poverty, the true significance lies in how these stories collectively contribute to an ongoing dialogue among viewers and artists, fostering a deeper understanding and discussion of these important subjects.

Narrative Transportation Theory
Narrative transportation, commonly known as transportation, is the phenomenon of becoming fully engaged in a story. Whether through print, film, podcasts, or virtual reality, individuals experiencing narrative transportation become deeply immersed cognitively, emotionally, and visually within the narrative. This immersive engagement often leads to enhanced enjoyment of the story, and those consuming the narrative may find themselves more readily influenced by the messages conveyed in the story.
