Join us for G.L.O.W.Fest: Igniting Awareness Through Film, a groundbreaking celebration of storytelling, resilience, and creativity within the sickle cell community. This unique event shines a spotlight on powerful narratives about sickle cell disease and the talented creators living with it, providing a platform for authentic representation and awareness.
Featuring a keynote address by Rapman, the visionary creator of Netflix’s Supacell, this festival will showcase short films and clips that explore the lived experiences, challenges, and triumphs of those affected by sickle cell disease. Our lineup includes compelling films in two categories:
Narratives on Sickle Cell – Films that explore the realities, struggles, and victories of individuals living with sickle cell disease.
Sickle Cell Creators – Works by filmmakers, writers, or artists with sickle cell disease, regardless of the subject matter.
In addition to screenings, the festival will recognize outstanding films with awards and special honors, celebrating excellence in storytelling and impact.
Whether you're a filmmaker, advocate, or someone passionate about elevating sickle cell awareness, we invite you to be part of this incredible event.
